Been
awhile, eh?
So, copies of Both Sides Never are still available
via our Merch page as well as iTunes(!) and the SnoCap feature on the
Patsys' MySpace page.
With any luck, we'll be back in the studio early next year to record
a (vinyl) EP of new material. If we can time it just right, who knows,
we might manage some out-of-town shows again if there's any interest
abroad.
And, finally, we'll try to get some long overdue new content posted
here soon.

Here
we go!
The Magic City/Patsys split 7" for Have You Got Soul?
and Teenage Electricity is now available on our Merch
page for $4 postage paid. This is a very limited run of singles
and this Patsys track will only ever be available here. We mean it,
man. No comps, nothin'.
While you're there, put your order in for your very own copy of Both
Sides Never,
the debut record by the Patsys. Thirteen songs produced by
Jim Diamond at the world famous Ghetto Recorders studio in Detroit,
Michigan. I think you're all gonna like this one.
And for all you podcasters out there, you can support the Patsys' scene
by heading over to the
Podsafe Music Network and grabbing select tracks from the CD for
your show!
Be sure to check out the Shows portion of our site while you're here.
Some good ones coming up soon.

And
we're back! So, Patsys, whatever happened to that debut album of yours?
Funny you should ask.
The first full-length Patsys album is finally mixed, mastered, and it's
Will Ruocco cover art is done. We're calling it Both Sides Never
and we'll have a release date for you very soon.
But wait, there's more.
The Patsys and their new favorite band, Magic
City, are set to release a split Umbrella 7" on April 14. Both
sides of the single were produced by our friend Jim Diamond at his world
famous Ghetto
Recorders studio in Detroit earlier this year in one marathon session.
Good times.
While you're here, take a minute to check the Shows section and sign
up for our mailing list.

You can now click here
to view the Patsys' myspace page and preview songs from our recent trips
to Detroit's Ghetto
Recorders.
Speaking of new singles, you can also preview the debut single from
our friends the Beatdowns on their
myspace page. I know you'll dig it.

The
Patsys returned to Detroit's fabulous Ghetto
Recorders studio in December. Plans are currently underway for a
new single once the final mixing and mastering has been completed.
Meanwhile, sometimes-Patsys Mark Wyatt has been busy fronting the Beatdowns,
a fantastice garage combo that also features ex-members of local faves
the Sovines. The band is currently recording some tracks with one-time
Patsys guitarist Nick Schuld.

Patsys'
kingpin Jeff Regensburger recently sat down to answer some questions
for our friends at the
Great Beyond music blog. Jeff talks about Columbus, dishes dirt
on the newest Patsys, and pulls back the curtain on a few of the myths
surrounding the band.

The
Patsys recently stopped off in Detroit to record some songs with Jim
Diamond at his world famous Ghetto
Recorders studio. The band also made an appearance on the Aural
Fixation show broadcast from Boston's WMBR. Special thanks to the
Spitzz and all of our East Coast friends, old and new, for their kindness
and hospitality.

Jim
Weber (the New Bomb Turks, Gaunt) has accepted an invitation to join
the Patsys following the recent departure of guitarist Stewart Nicol.
Visitors to the Shows page can find information on some Columbus dates
in April and May. And,
if you're in Europe this summer, be sure to catch Jim with the Turks
as they make their way across the continent!

It's
the Patsys' sad duty to inform you that Stewart Nicol has left the band.
Citing geographical differences, Stewart has resigned his post as the
band's guitar player in order to pursue a higher education in sunnier
climes. The remaining members of the group wish Stewart nothing but
the best for his future. Prior to his departure, the group visited Workbook
Studio to record a new single due out later this year.

Speaking
of Patsys singles, On the Thirteenth Kick will be available through
the Anyway Records and Revolver USA websites and record stores nationwide.
The CD collects all of the band's Umbrella Records singles and three
previously unreleased songs engineered by Paul Mahern at Echo Park,
IN.
